This stunning sauce can be added to anything the imagination finds.
It is great with all vegetables in any form: cooked, fresh, fried or roasted.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 1 cup whole milk yogurt (any kind you like)
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 2 tbsp heavy cream (optional)
- 1 shallot
- 1 garlic clove
- ½ tbsp mint
- 1 sage leaf
- 1 tsp of lemon zest
- ½ tsp of maple syrup
- ½ tsp of salt
- ¼ tsp of black pepper
- Drizzle of olive oil
- Sprinkle of paprika, chives or green onion for garnish
HOW TO MAKE
- On a cutting board, finely chop the shallots, mint and sage. Grate or mince the garlic.
- In a serving bowl, combine the yogurt, sour cream, and heavy cream.

Add the shallot, garlic, mint, sage, lemon zest, maple syrup, salt and pepper.
Mix everything well. - Top with a drizzle of olive oil, paprika and chives or green onion.
