Walnut butter.
First and foremost, walnuts are the king of all nuts.
Walnuts are full of healthy oils and vitamins
And in my opinion they are so tasty and fun to work with. The butter is a little bitter but when you add it as an ingredient it brings everything up
We can use this butter in sauces for salads, smoothies, as a snack with sliced green apple on a sandwich, vegan cakes and more.
I recommend having raw walnuts as a basic ingredient in your kitchen.
WHAT YOU NEED?
2 cups
⅓ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon honey
HOW TO MAKE?
Preheat oven on 350 f
- spread the walnuts on a tray cover with parchment paper
- Place in the oven for 7-8 minutes
- Let it cool, first Take out the parchment paper with the roasted walnut and place it on your kitchen counter(that it will cool faster and won't be over roasted by the hot tray)
- Put all the cool roasted walnuts in the food processor with the salt and honey and start to blend
- The walnuts are much more oily than other nuts so the blend will become softer much faster.
- Blend and scrape the remains from the side and blend until you get a soft texture.
- ENJOY!
