Roasted Radish

The Radish is an edible root vegetable, that grows in the winter season, it has this watery crunchy and strong spicey taste, usually we slice it thin and add it to salads.

I like to bake the Radish and to get a  totally differnt taste, soft delicate and delicious.

We need jappanese Mandoline for slicing

 

ingredient:

1 Daikon Long white Radish
1 Long Red Radish
3 tbsp olive oil
10 thin cubes of Butter around 10 grams
3 sage leaves
salt and fresh black pepper

How to make?

Pre Heat oven 375F, 190C
With a Japanese Mandoline slice the radishes to 1/3 c"m, 1/8 inch
Place the slices on Parchment paper on an oven pan

chopped  the sage leaves sprinkle the Salt,Black Pepper,Olive Oil and the chopped Sage leaves over the sliced Radish.
cut small thin cubes of Butter and spread them on top.
Put in the oven for 20 min, add it to your plade dinner, rice,sandwich..it is so good!!
