Almond milk is a basic ingredient in the vegan, non dairy kitchen, it is so easy to make and a thousand times healthier from the one you buy at the supermarket, it is only 3 ingredients and has no preservatives, the milk lasts 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
We use it as a milk for hot morning drink
For non dairy chia pudding, and to any sweet or cake that needs milk
Ingredients:
2 cups raw almonds
5 -6 cups filtered water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 Majhule dates without the seed
How to make:
- Soak the almonds overnight, i like to peel them .
- In a blender put the soaked almonds with the water, salt and dates, blend on high speed until all solid texture
- Put it into a milk bag (you can buy it online)
- Keep it in the fridge (it can hold for up to 4 days)
You can use it for smoothies, cakes, coffee, oatmeal, chia pudding and so much more.
