Making almond butter is so exciting to do.
Seeing the almonds slowly turn to butter opened an entire world of opportunities.

you can use it in smoothie, in salad dressing, as a spread om toast with jam or honey, as pasta soace, salad dressing, as a dip...

Short and sweet recipe. 

WHAT YOU NEED 

-3 cups raw almonds
-1 tbsp honey
-½ tsp salt

HOW TO MAKE

Roasting the almonds: Preheat the oven to 350F/180C.
Place the raw almonds on parchment paper and roast in the oven for 7 mins.
Remove from the oven and let it cool.

In a food processor, add the roasted almonds, salt and honey.
Start grinding for 2 mins, uncover the food processor and scrape the edges with a spatula to collect the mixture into the middle. Grind again for another 2 minutes.
Every time the mixture and the food processor get hot, stop grinding and wait until cool. Repeat this process 3-5 times until you get a creamy texture. Transfer to a glass jar.

Enjoy on a piece of toast with honey, in a smoothie or your favorite cereal.
