This section is about connecting with ourselves through cooking.
When we cook, we learn and connect to our essence. We learn about our own instincts and taste.
Just cook it!

THE 3 ELEMENTS OF COOKING:
Working with our hands is the greatest gift we have.
The act of cooking using our hands reunites us with all of our senses. This physical action can calm the noises in our head, connect us deeper to our food and to the present moment.
Playfulness is the name of the game
Playfulness in the kitchen can help us overcome the stress of cooking, allow us to have fun, be alert, curious, passionate, and brave.
When we PLAY your involvement is total, but you carry it lightly.
When we approach cooking in this state of mind, we let ourselves to try and "fail", and express our courage. The playful spirit keeps us light-hearted with our "failures", instead of let them discourage us from cooking.
Time for Oneself, carving out time for activities which enables self-fulfillment and relaxation.
Once we enter the kitchen we have to make a conscious choice to make this a time to be with ourselves. Dedicating this time for ourselves by choice, makes all the difference. Once we stand behind this choice we have made, we are no longer impulsive, frustrated, and rushed to make everything. It is important to remember that if we enter the kitchen desiring only the finished outcome, we become tired and anxious. It's all about the process. “When I don’t know what to do and can’t find myself, I just enter the kitchen and turn on the music. First, I organize and clean the kitchen. Then I take out all the vegetables that I have in the fridge and I look at them. I choose the pot I want on the stove, I light the fire on high heat, and I begin a loyal relationship with my pot. I am constantly tasting, smelling and stirring, adding and playing with the heat. And before I know it, I am at peace, because I have made something for myself and others.”
