HOW TO MAKE

The Scones

    • Preheat the oven to 350F/180C
    • In a stand mixer, add the Flour, Sugar, Salt, and Baking Powder. Slightly mix the dry ingredients.
    • To the mixture, add the melted Butter, Heavy Cream, and Vanilla Extract. Mix or Knead for about 5-6 minutes until you have a solid dough.

    • Sprinkle some Flour on a clean surface and roll out the dough until it is about 1 inch (or 3cm) in thickness.
    • With a 5 inch diameter glass cup or circular cookie cutter, cut out 15 scones.
    • Place parchment paper on an oven tray and place the scones on top. If you have some melted butter left, spread some of it on the scones with your hands.
    • Bake for 30 minutes.

    The Topping

      • In a stand mixer, whip the Heavy Cream, Sugar, and Vanilla extract.

Enjoy the scones with some Jam and Whipped cream and maybe a Turkish Black Coffee.
