Cleanse Carrot Soup

Cleanse Carrot Soup

During my cleansing time, she ran outside with a box in her hand, screaming: “Shir! Shir!” I was organizing our guest room and my son, Mikey, was in a zoom class. I quickly went outside and saw her with the golden chocolate truffles box in her hand. “What is this chocolate!?” She asked suspiciously. “No!!!! You ate it?!?” I asked her. “Yes,” she nodded. “It’s magic mushroom chocolate,” I answered.

Mikey speaks Spanish so I called him outside to explain the situation to her. “Mom, I’m in class.”
“She ate the chocolate”, I screamed. He turned off his camera and came to talk to Maria, our cleaner, who was now connecting with nature, and staring at the leaves that flew with the wind from the tree to the ground. I looked at my son talking to her gently, and I heard him say: “Maria, Maria, no hay necesidad de trabajar ahora”. And I actually understood every word. No, no… Necesita trabajar… work! Oh my god, I was waiting for her for two weeks and now no trabajar!

At three in the afternoon she went to Milly’s room, sat on the bed, and asked me “cuando pasara?” (When will this pass?) “If you eat something, I think in an hour”. I was wrong.

Mikey went back to his class and I went into the kitchen to cut her some pineapple. ¿Maybe Trabajar later?! I took a knife, started to peel the pineapple, towards me. The knife slipped and cut me between the thumb and index finger. I started to bleed and knew it wasn’t good. In one room, the cleaner is hallucinating on Milly’s bed. In the other room the boy is in zoom class.
I came closely, almost crying, and said: “I cut myself bad”.
He looked at the screen and told the professor: “I have an emergency. I have to leave the class”. He asked me: “What happened here in the last 30 minutes?”

Mikey got the first aid kit and took care of my injury.
I went into the room to check on Maria and give her the pineapple with one hand hidden behind my back to not scare her. I spoke to her in English and she understood everything.

At 10 o’clock at night she came out of the room and said: “I can drive home now. It was a magical day. Sorry I didn’t clean”. I said: “No, no necesita… todo bien…” and gave her some of my cleanse carrot soup to take home and detox her mushroom journey.
